The Carrier HD44AQ268 screw compressor is a very common residential air conditioning and heating equipment. The system's capacity is 3-tons of cooling and 2-tons of heating. The compressor runs on 220 volt, 1/2 HP, X13 motor that is 2466 RLA.

The Carrier HD44AQ268 is the motor ECM manufactured by Carrier. The basic function of a motor ECM is to receive signals from and send signals to the respective air conditioner/refrigeration system through its wiring connector. This device also monitors input power voltage, line voltage, and it has self-diagnostic capabilities which may or may not be supported by display connector pins.

The Carrier HD44AQ268 motor is a 1/2 horsepower, permanent split capacitor, with thermal overload protection. The motor is designed for use on ducted systems and in commercial applications. Mounting requires 3-1/4 inch depth clearance.
