This carrier 140F M/R Limit Switch is suitable for use in a range of electrical heating applications and offers outstanding performance. This limit switch meets the requirements of EN954-1 and carries CE markings for documentation with the exception of voltage.

This Carrier limit switch is a 140F Series Mechanical/Rheostat, 2-position adjustable limit control that can be used with 1 or 2 stage cooling. The temperature ranges from 60 to 140F and the current rating is 15A at 125VAC or 10A at 24VDC. It comes equipped with a quick connect terminal block and a zero lead for connection to the system control circuit.

This Limit Switch is a replacement for Carrier Gas Furnaces and is designed to control the temperature of the furnace. This switch mounts on the gas valve assembly. The 140F is a limit control for modulating gas furnaces. It will function in heating only or in cooling/heating applications. Apply +24 VDC when valve coils are energized, otherwise, output is off (open).
