TEMP ACT SWITCH

The Carrier HH18HA160 Temp Act Switch is a sub-base low-voltage switch. It is used to sense temperature loading on standard packaged units under 80,000 Btuh and step-down, to control compressor start and stop on intermittent duty and low occupancy.

The HH18HA160 temperature actuated switch, from Carrier, is designed to control air-conditioning (A/C) and heat-pump (H/P) production in response to temperature changes. It has a rated current of 18 A, 360° standard mounting, silver contacts, and is UL recognized.

Standard, single, sub-bundle high temperature, temperature adjustment type switches designed for use in household applications. Construction is: electrically operated bimetallic temperature actuated switch for heating or cooling of continuous loads and motors.

The Carrier HH18HA160 high limit temperature actuator, used in the gas valve assembly on the carrier FV18RGJR. Actuator comes with a temp switch and adjustable screw knob . This temperature controller is used on other units as well.
