Disconnect" is a double-entendre: It has a "disconnect" function to switch off the air conditioner for up to 12 hours along with being able to be disconnected from the inside circuit breaker.
DISCONNECT switches are single-pole snap-action switches with normally closed contacts. They do not require a contactor (starter). They are available in a range of voltages and amps as indicated in the table below. Some sizes shown may not be RoHS compatible at this time.
