The Carrier board terminal is a low profile air distribution board for in-row or end row installation to accommodate indirect fed heating and cooling equipment. This terminal is designed for use with ductwork containing nominal 2" x 6" metal channels, covered with a metal shroud or grille. Having no visible fasteners, it provides an attractive solution to the routing of ductwork.

This single-phase board mounted unit features electronic inverter compressor technology with a variable frequency drive to enhance energy performance and provide quiet operation.

The Carrier HY84DA022 board is designed for use with Carrier, Trane, American Standard, Bryant and Payne split system air conditioners. This board has a straight inlet duct design and comes perforated. The HY84DA022C04-R20EZ, the 5th generation of Carrier boards is UL listed as an accessory or terminal board for the installation of a convertible evaporator coil or indoor unit under the direction of a professional installer.

There are board carriers that connect to the 5-wire backplane. The carrier brings the top design, which differs from the bottom term of extreme environmental temperature conditions (up to 105 degrees Celsius) requirements.

The Carrier Board Mounted Thermostat, Model HY84DA022, is designed to be mounted on the face of an existing four (4) or six (6) zone system board and eliminates the need for non-BTS access to the zone valves. The Carrier Board is a low voltage (24 VDC) board designed to work with the D22VP Plenum. It is recommended for most installations.
