The Carrier P291-4574RS dual capacitor is designed to be easy to install for DIY homeowners.

A dual capacitor. For use with Carrier air conditioners with a 290 or 291 prefix (i.e. 29AC, 29YC ...).

The Carrier P291-4574RS dual capacitor condenser is designed to fit into most common 17 x 35 outdoor wall openings. It also comes equipped with a defrost timer and a built-in pressure switch for additional safety.

Designed for use as primary or backup UPS power source, the Carrier P291-4574RS Dual capacitor Uninterruptible Power System features a lightweight compact design and two sealed capactiors that are easy to replace during maintenance without interrupting uptime.

With a dual capacitor, these Carrier's continue to work even in a power failure, so your home is always cool.

The Carrier® P291-4574RS dual capacitor air conditioning and heating unit is designed for your central air conditioning and heating system.  In order to achieve maximum cooling or heating, the dual capacitor fits between the condenser and the gas valve. This product is an original equipment manufactured replacement part, and should be installed only by a Carrier Certified™ technician.
