The Controller for Scotsman - Part# 12-2838-24 is a replacement controller for the following models:

This is a brand new in the box, Scotsman SMT series controller ( 12-2838-24 ) for use in Scotsman evaporator systems that require 2 stage mixing/booster. This is compatible with control boards that use an Emerson dual board (2 terminal block board like 745N001-181).

The Controller allows you to monitor and modify the temperature of your Scotsman Refrigerator and Scotsman Ice Maker remotely.

The Controller allows you to control the temperature of the Scotsman Refrigerator without opening the door. The Controller can be set to one of three temperature levels for optimal energy savings or set to open automatically after time of preset amount.

An 8" controller is now standard on all Scotsman ice machines with the exception of 90K and 90K-1 models sold prior to spring 2010. This controller may physically fit on 90K and 90K-1 models, but the programming for this controller is not currently supported on these models.

The control board is an integral part of the Scotsman Ice Machine. It controls the functions of defrosting, heating, and compressing in ice production.

A controller for residential, commercial and industrial outdoor units (heat pumps, boilers). It communicates with the indoor unit to set desired temperature or regeneration mode, monitors indoor/outdoor temperatures and status, and can control external devices. The rugged enclosure is splash-proof. A ruggedized version is available for outdoor usage.

The Controller is a 1/2" thick, stainless steel tegular weight. The Controller has 1/2" and 3/4" NPT drain and supply plug fittings and can be mounted on the back of the heater. The Controller is used with the standard 3/8" or 1/2" diameter masonary well pump tubing to control the temperature of your hot water shipments.

The Controller is the main interface that the operator use to monitor and control all of the functions of the system.
