Copeland Overload and Motor Protector Kits are designed for Copeland 971 Series Chillers. The Overload Kit keeps the compressor from running too long. If the system fails to come back up a second time, the motor protector protects from damage. The Overload kit consists of an overload relay assembly and capacitor. The Mechanical Motor Protector includes all hardware needed for installation and is also factory mounted.

This complete overload protector item kit for Copeland 971-0554-22 motor has been designed to provide quick and easy installation of the overload protector.

The Copeland Overload Relay protects the compressor from being overloaded in the event of a fire or failure of one of the overload contacts in a circuit. This kit includes two overload relays with independent sets of overload contacts.
