This 1/2"" FLARE SERVICE VALVE is used for most 2-bolt Copeland compressors in the R-17, R-22 and R-507 refrigerators.

With an all-metallic sturdy brass body and at a cost effective price, this 1/2"" Flare Service Valve is designed with precision threads that reduces valve leakage. It is ferrous internally and externally to prevent rusting, and flanged for safe connection to the hose. The 998-0510-24 is a 1/2" Flare Service Valve, and is used for Copeland CR4 series refrigeration compressors. The valves are constructed of stainless steel with a brass control value, aluminum blow off valve cap, and black plastic relief cap.

The P/N 998-0510-24, 2 Bolt Service Vlv-1/2" Flare is a Flare Type Model 1/2"" Service Valve. The 998-0510-24 is the same as the 998-0510 only with an inlet to center distance of 24". This Model 998-0510 (2 Bolt Service) Valve is a Standard "Plug Valve" with an ANSI 150 lb. operating pressure rating. This Version 2 Plug Valve has two NPT 1/2"-20 male threaded ends.

This service valve has a ½"" pipe thread inlet connection with a male flare fitting for easy connection to the liquid line. This service valve features stainless steel construction and is designed to be used with Copeland Scroll Compressors.
