EATON / CUTLER-HAMMER Drive Safety 2N/O SideMt Auxiliary Contacts, C320KGS4. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Auxiliary contacts are field-installed to provide additional motor protection for overload protection transients. These devices interlock with the starter contact and close only when the main contacts in the overload relay are closed, preventing a unit starting into an overcurrent condition.

The 2N/0 SideMt Auxiliary Contacts meet Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Standard 1471, and are for use in feeders, branch circuits, motor control centers, and similar equipment requiring a normally open but breaker intelligent auxiliary contact. Available in boxes of 10, 100, or 1000 pieces.

Match more loads, transform dead circuits into live ones, and close open contacts. This side-mount auxiliary contact is a rugged unit designed to reliably withstand harsh environments. Its 2NO/1NO size makes it compatible with Eaton's C320 series circuit breakers.

The Eaton Cutler-Hammer auxiliary contacts in the C-320KG family feature one NO (normally open) and one NC (normally closed) auxiliary contact at each pole. The contacts are isolated from the line section and each other by insulating hardware within the deadfront terminal enclosure, except C320KGK5, which uses a bayonet connector to electrically connect the contacts. Contacts may be removed and replaced for maintenance or interchange with other compatible auxiliary contacts. It is also possible to connect auxiliary contacts together using the same terminal screws.
