Swivel Mount Bracket with Spring

A wide range of mounting positions and power stroke adjustment for a variety of applications. The single, concentric spring swivel mount bracket is mounted on the main body casting of a Johnson or Johnson-licensed compressor, and receives power from a timed belt from the LB4-43A modulating, load sensing device. The crankshaft is mounted on the modulating lever arm which you can adjust up to 2".

The swivel mount bracket is designed to rotate 360° around the vertical axis of the piston rod for applications where the weight or size of the object being lifted require swivel movement. Control valve models use quiet, multi-seal cylinder to ensure minimal fluid leakage and maximum performance. Brake models include mechanical overload protection to ensure maximum safe application load. The spring swivel mount bracket features cam action lock clamps that provide positive locking for downward pressure during lowering.

Mounting brackets are designed for use with spring swivel / ball joints. They feature a rigid steel mounting assembly and a soft cushioning rubber boot. The clevis angles from approximately 10 degrees below horizontal to approximately 35 degrees above horizontal and the crank arm angles from approximately 15 degrees below horizontal to approximately 50 degrees above horizontal. Both can be adjusted and fixed at any point during the adjustment range. The spring swivel is mounted by means of a single ball stud and foot nut.

The spring swivel mount bracket is a solid brass base mounted on a swiveling bearing surface that attaches to either 2 or 4 horizontal mounting lugs. The clevis and crank arm is a stamped metal forged body shaft assembly with a spring loaded retaining pin used to eliminate unwanted movement.

The Single-Acting spring swivel mount bracket and crank arm provides greater application flexibility in confined spaces. The single-acting design allows the operator to extend and retract a load in only one direction, simplifying the control system and eliminating the need for extra crank arms.
