The Danfoss TWA-A actuator combines a valve position indicator with an interior 24VAC 2.0VA magnet/reed relay, in one compact package. Designed for both vertical and horizontal applications, where the actuator is normally used in dry environments, it is suitable for controlling a rotary vane positioner, a 3-way solenoid valve or a 4-way directional switch.

The TWA-A 24V 4-WIRE W/SWITCH actuator with valve position indicator is a valve actuator, designed for Danfoss temperature controllers for process control and comfort heating applications. It requires an external 24 VAC power supply.

The TWA-A is a vertical 24 V 4-wire position actuator with normally closed (NC) contacts. It is used with compressor control valves or as a direct acting 24 V appliance actuator.

The new TWA-A 24V 4-wire is designed to switch loads of up to 2 VA, with a continuous operating current of 0.4 A at 24 VAC. It can be mounted into any wall box.

The TWA-A valve actuator is used in connection with Danfoss PX series valves. The TWA-A valve actuator can be mounted on a single acting valve where the solenoid coil is energized by an AC current or on a double acting valve for half or full stroke operation. The Type-A valve actuator has a built-in switch for switching off the actuator after operation to secure it against unintentional operation.

The Danfoss TWA-A spring actuator is a direct replacement part for the LWM43 , LWM46, AFC-D1, FC-D2 and FC-D3 line valves. It has a 2500 liner stroke for reduced pressure loss when compared to more common linear actuators. Its integrated return spring offers high holding power and its 4 wire design provides superior performance in all operating conditions.
