The Deltana SB3058U3 is a 5/8" Shutter Bar/Door Latch with bright brass finish. This product also comes with an extended front strike and an extended cover bolt. It can be used to confer security to windows, french doors and sliding glass panels. This latch is meant for wooden or fiberglass doors.

The SB3058U3 Latch is designed for use on hollow metal panels. Use this Shutter Bar/Door Latch to secure an access door in a bedroom closet or interior linen closet. Featuring a bright brass finish, this Deltana latch will coordinate with any decor.

Deltana Shutter Bar Latch, 3/4" latch length, 1.0625" projection from door, 5/8" bar width. Shutter Bar and Door latches are used for the same purpose as panic bars on interior doors: to allow quick egress from a building in an emergency. Shutter Bars are easier to use than Panic Bars because they do not require strong pressure to release from the doorjamb.

This shutter bar latch is designed to fit over a 5/8" thick door. The bar is 2-1/2" wide and adjusts on an 1-3/4" center for easy installation. The latch is supplied with 4 screws and strike plate. This latch is solid brass and matches other deltana hardware products.
