Deltana TSPE200U3 Extended T-Strike (2-3/4" x 2" ), Bright Brass Finish

The Deltana TSPE200U3 Extended T-Strike Plate (2-1/8" x 2-3/4") is designed to overlap 1/2" on either side of the framing member. The extended lip allows for an easier installation at the correct height 1/8 below the kick plate. 

The Deltana strike plate with extended lip is designed for doors with strike hole centers of 2-3/4" or more. This strike plate will cover the exposed edge on the door frame to protect the finish on cabinets and trim. The Deltana TSPE200U3 also features a depth of 2-1/8".

StrikePlates are used to set the ceramic tile in preparation for gluing. This T Strike Plate is 2-3/4" x 2-1/8". It is made of brass that has polished finish and bright brass finish.

Extended T-Strike Plates are used primarily for hollow-core doors, where the Strike Mounting Mortise is not centered or located above the door surface. This design allows the door to open freely without hitting the extended lip. These T-strike plates feature a flat plate with an extended lip that is back drilled for 1/4" bumpers.

With the Extended Lip T-Strike, there is now no need to drill a hole in order to utilize the lock hardware. The Extended Lip offers a 1/16" deep recess that conforms with ANSI standards as well as many other industry standards.
