Liquid Level Switch

Weatherproof Liquid Level Switch can be installed outdoors or in a conduit box. It has both threaded and sweat connections for conduit. The L8 is durable enough to resist most chemicals and the foam float design means it takes on liquid load without taking on water, even when not in use. Also includes an accuracy of +/- 1/4" at full range of travel.

The L8 Liquid Level Switch is an SPST non-latching, normally closed (N/C) float operated and internally self-contained switch. It is equipped with a PPS fl ot at or small object contact protection.

The Flotect Series Liquid Level Switch is a self-contained, fully potted high impact polystyrene switch designed to be mounted under a gooseneck or bell jar in corrosive and chemical environments. Interfaces directly with a 1/2 in tubing (compression or viton seal).

Dwyer Flotect Series Liquid Level Switches are specifically designed to operate in harsh environments where liquid or steam is present. The switches feature unique materials and construction which provide a high level of protection against corrosion, debris, and chemicals.

This item contains a level switch and weatherproof, polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) float and body. This Dwyer Instruments L8 Liquid Level Switch also uses stainless steel screw and nut. The stainless steel junction box is rated for IP55 and the liquid level sensing tubes are made of PPS material which has excellent chemical resistance to water, acids, bases and salts.

This liquid level switch utilizes a resilient float and polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) housing that meets the requirements of NEMA Type 4X. The high-energy elastomer valve supplies maximum life and accurate actuation. The PPS housing is manufactured with a metal insert, which provides an oil outlet for excellent reliability in harsh environments. It is designed to float on temperatures up to 302°F (150°C), withstand extreme conditions of shock and vibration, resist UV rays, and minimize noise.

The Flotect Series liquid level switches are ideal for use as a suction or return line switch to indicate when there is no water in the tank. The L8 has a 10in (250mm) vertical float with wide seat. The switch is designed to fit into a standard 2in (50mm) conduit box and comes with a 10ft (3m) flexible, polyvinyl chloride conduit cable.
