EASY SAND – Flowable Polyester Finishing and Blending Putty KEEPS ANY GLAZING FLOWING SMOOTH. Use to flow, blend or repair a variety of polyester based glass-finish applications. Designed to be applied relatively thick without the glue backing, and to remain in place while tapping or rolling smooth after application.

Evercoat's EASY SAND Putty is primarily used for filling in small holes and imperfections and blending seams on fiberglass parts. It is also used for glazing. The product consists of polyester resin with a high percentage of fine grain glass fibers (63%). Easy Sand can be applied using a putty knife, trowel or spatula and the excess sanded off. The putty remains pliable enough to finish right out of the container.

EASY SAND is an extremely low shrinkage flowable polyester putty. The off white putty is ideal for renovations or new builds where glass must be cut to create windows and doors. The easy sand putty can also be used for patching damaged fibre glass prior to applying a special finish coat.

Fibre Glass-Evercoat EASY SAND Finishing and Blending Putty is a white polyester based putty with very low viscosity (thixotropic) allowing it to be used straight from the container. Once the bottle is shaken, it becomes a very thick, controlled consistency for easy application.

Just as nature has a way of healing itself, so easy sand™polyester putty in flowable form has a way of self leveling. It is the blend of advanced polyester resins that allow easy sand to flow onto your surface with perfect control. You are able to build up or blend on vertical and horizontal surfaces with no lap marks or lines. The product will harden when exposed to ultraviolet light (sunlight), at which time you can remove excess material with fine grit sandpaper.

Evercoat EASY SAND flows like a liquid but sands like a putty. EASY SAND can be tinted with any automotive or architectural paint or powder pigmented for colored results. This product is very aggressive when wet and will sand through a single coat of sealer in less than twenty minutes on bare wood and needs to be sealed with ONE COAT of LOW HARDENING Satin-Acrylic Conformal Coating prior to use. A quick drying sandable primer should be used over previously finished and properly cured surfaces.
