3/8"COMPRESSION COUPLING

The F-800-5 3/8"Compression Coupling supplies an effective means of securing two lengths of tube together. The coupling is designed to deliver large amounts of water efficiently to the indoor heating system. This unit is naturally made up of organic materials including elastomeric gasket, black chlorinated polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon lock nut, brass screw, solder free plated brass screws, stainless steel screws with zinc plating, stainless steel torsion spring and steel barrel nut.

The Johnson Controls F-800-5 is a standard 3/8"compression coupling. It features the latest machining techniques, which allows for higher strength and quality control, resulting in less leakage and better sealing. This coupling has low torque loss to allow energy savings with minimal pressure drop.

The F-800-5 is the original Johnson Controls 3/8" compression coupling. This part replaces F800-5.

Compression couplings connect two pipes of the same size together to form a single assembly on the job site. Compression fittings are ideal for water, oil, or gas. They provide easy assembly, safe operation and maintenance-free service.

The F-800 series is made up of couplings ranging from 3/8" diameter to 2"; and includes a powder coating finish. This series is based on the traditional "wire-wrapped" design, with all parts being interchangeable. This design assures that all parts are interchangeable between coupling sizes, which means you only buy the part once for multiple applications.

Combine versatile F-200 series couplers to create any length of hose. Perfect for connecting larger bore hoses to smaller diameter pipes, this coupling features an additional collar lock ring. Three couplings are made of copper-nickel alloy for maximum strength and durability. Inside dimensions of steel hub range from 1/2"-3/4" nominal pipe size. This model is 3/8".

Our manufacturing process produces consistent, high quality couplings that fit together perfectly. Each coupling is vacuum tested at the factory for leak-free operation and manufactured from zinc plated carbon steel with a viton insert to reduce seal failure.

The F-Series Couplings are designed for use on cast iron and ductile iron piping. These couplings feature a unique elastomeric seal that maintains a positive sealing action, yet eliminates the need for donut gaskets. They feature a triple-lip seat and 7/8-18 UNF-2B threaded ends and can be rotated 360 degrees on the pipe. They provide permanent leakproof joints in cast iron or ductile iron piping systems.

Aura® F-800-5 thermostatic coupling with built-in bypass is designed for use in purge air systems. The low profile, 2 port relief valve is available with thermoplastic or cast bronze body. The relief valve provides maximum freedom of movement for people in the work environment while still maintaining the hot gas supply pressure needed to perform different functions.
