This latch features a 140 degree liftoff angle to help prevent pinching injury. The decorative front plate provides traditional exterior trim with no mortise hole drilling required.

These Passage Lockset hardware used in conjunction with the Schlage F10 Series Cylindrical Deadbolt which can be purchased separately, is a good start for a secure entrance setup. Passageset includes the passage doorknob w/key in the front and standard latch assembly and deadbolt assembly on the outside. The latch side requires a 32-3/4" stock. The passage knobset is designed to work with standard pre-drilled door prep for easy installation.

It operates just like a deadbolt but without the "dead" feel you get from conventional rim latches. The F10 is recessed to allow installation in existing mortised locksets.
