The Schlage F170PLY605 lock is a dummy door lock configuration for use with existing Schlage deadbolt mounting hardware and key/ security cylinder (Keyed Alike). This particular lock is a Plymouth half dummy design, with a Bright Brass finish.
The Schlage F170PLY605 Plymouth Half Dummy Lockset (Pack of 20) provides a means of locking a door while providing a decorative finish. It features a multipoint deadbolt, bore diameter 7/16-in., and classic design with ball knob.
This is a Schlage F170 Plymouth internal dummy lock. The Schlage Plymouth series is half of the handle set. This means that there are two needed to complete a lock set, this item is 1/2 of your door knob or lever handle. A dummy is used on the non-active side of the door (the side that does not need to be locked) to protect the integrity of the locking system and maintain the original look until installation of the finished product.
The Schlage Plymouth Dummy lockset has a bright brass finish with matching faceplates and dummy key.
This dummy lock is designed for both residential and commercial applications requiring a standard sized lock with no keying. This lock does not have the workings of a keyway; it is identical to the F170 commercial lock used for interior doors, except that it will not accept a key. Packaged with 20 locks and 20 escutcheons.
