The Schlage F Series Avila Privacy lever may be operated with either hand and a finger, making it ideal for the use of limited mobility. The privacy function on this lock turns two opposing levers away from each other. This lock is recommended as a replacement for the 5 pin consumer grade Kwikset and Schlage B Series privacy locks in applications using Group 2 or QL1 1/4" hardened steel deadbolts.
