The Schlage F40 Flair privacy lock comes with a latch and one square nickel silver strike. The privacy feature prevents the latch from being operated from outside the door. Included is a latch slip in/out (F Series) strike plate featuring the Schlage logo. The Deadbolt throwbolts on both sides of the door are exposed by removing two screws on the inside surface of the door.

The Schlage F40 Flair privacy lock and latch is right handed and requires a .110 center to center hole spacing.  It retains the same classic styling found in all Flair locks. The F40 has the addition of a keyway cover with an exclusive three tipped design that allows you to open your door while keeping the keyhole concealed. The Flair privacy line features our bright chrome finish which enhances any décor and gives a slightly brighter, deeper luster to the product.
