The Schlage F40 features a patented privacy pin system that inserts into the deadbolt, preventing lock tampering and helps provide privacy and security. The Satin Chrome finish is elegant, matching your existing handlesets or entry hardware.

The Orbit Privacy knob locks onto the front of your door and engages a locking mechanism inside the door. The 16080 latch screws onto your current strike and is adjustable to fit any standard size jamb (around 2-3/4" to 3-1/8").

The Orbit Privacy Lock is part of the Schlage F Series security line. This unique doorknob has a lever style handle with a lever on the interior to operate the lock and an exterior knob to open the door. The Accent Lever provides privacy by allowing you to lock and unlock your door without obstructing knob from outside view.

The Schlage Orbit Privacy knob provides an enhanced feel and has level 2 ANSI Grade 1-Commercial Grade quality. The cylinder lock is designed to withstand repeated use during normal operations. It offers a greater degree of security by keeping outside elements out of the door's latch mechanism
