Formerly known as the Latitude 625 Collins Double D, this Schlage brand 6016 Series is still being produced by The Schlage Lock Company. The Schlage FC172 features a vertical collar that allows for an adjustment of the latch and deadbolt throw to fit the exact requirements of your door. This series also includes the ability to remove the center bolt stop for door thicknesses of 1-3/8". The weathershield option provides protection against rust and corrosion for exterior applications. This is a residential grade lock with a lifetime finish warranty.

The FC172 works with most electronic devices that have a user code or keypad. Fingerprint and proximity readers are not compatible for this lock. The FC172 conforms to UL fire ratings of up to 4 hours for both residential and hospitality applications. It is recommended for use in applications such as residential entry doors, exterior and interior applications, hotels, motels, and office buildings.
