The Schlage Devries FC21 code in lock is a custom-sized, 6-pin mortise cylinder for use on wood doors. Its sash guard and tailpiece are nickel plated brass with tailpiece 1/4" longer than standard for large backset applications. The zinc alloyed spindle is 3/8" diameter by 2" long and has 4 tumbler cuts. The spindle interacts with the 4 tumbler cuts to provide more than 1,000,000 possible key variations.
