UV SELFCHECK SCANNER

The Fireye 55UV5-1009 UV selfcheck scanner is designed to meet ANSI/ASIS SSPC-20, class 1, division 2 group A. It detects problems that can occur in fire protection systems, including water flow drop out, mains pressure leaks, low water level in standpipes / sprinkler tanks/ reservoirs or air gaps in pressure systems. One of the scanning units comes with the integral direct input interface, an analog current loop interface and a standard RS-485 interface. The following features are included:

The Fireye 55UV5-1009 UV self-check scanner is designed to meet the requirements of ANSI standard Z89.1 paragraph 41.3, which requires all security personnel to be issued an area search flashlight and a portable ultraviolet checker.

The Fireye™ UV55 Series self-check scanner is a Class I, Division 2 hazardous location portable scanner for low voltage (10 kV) circuits. It is ideal for identifying non-energized circuit conductors and tracing through missed connections.

Fireye self-check scanner checks cables from 1 to 6 kV. 100% testing of cable and ground is provided (double-insulated cables are not required to be tested). Each field meter measures phase-to-phase voltage, with rated accuracy of +/- 1% at 500 volts and rated resolution of 0.1%.
