The ED580-1 RemoteDisplayCableED510 is designed to provide secure, real-time visual access to multiple Panoramic Display Systems using standard Ethernet cable and a structured cabling system. For most installations, the RemoteDisplayCableED510 requires an ED/RBox cable termination, available from your local Fireye Sales Office. In order to use the remote display capabilities of the ED580-1, you will need one ED600 (Remote Display) Interface per Remote Display.

The ED580-1.25 consists of the "Wired Remote Display" (EDHRCP1) with a C-40 cable and the "Distant Operator Panel" (EDHOSP2) with a C-41 cable. The EDHRCP1 connects to the EDHOSP2 via C-40 cable. The display provides a visual indication of detector status and allows individual detector selection or system control. When connected to an EDI800 alarming devices and status can be viewed at the distant operator panel.

The ED580-1 is a solenoid driven fire alarm control panel that offers a multi-function push button keypad and a remote display capability. The ED580-1 also has an OC (Optical Carrier) interface for integrating an ED510, ED525, or CDK5 remote station to the fire alarm control panel in order to allow the user access into the system for trouble notification purposes.

This multi-functional fire alarm communicator can be used as a remote display, or a handy inline monitoring and control tool for the Fireye ED510 Series hybrid and conventional panels. The ED580-1 provides real-time information such as zone status, thermal status, tamper, trouble, and silence with one low cost interface cable that goes directly to your panel
