FLAME SENSOR

The F12840 is a Flame Sensor and can be used with the Garland DSI Management System. It continuously monitors each burner's flame output to ensure consistent food temperature in the event of a burner failure or outage. The F12840 has a flame range from 9 inches to 16 inches, allowing it to sense almost all types of burners. (EXCEPT FOR FLAT TOP GAS RANGES)

The Flame Sensor has been designed to monitor the flame and gas output of your cooktop, automatically switching the fan and power off when the flame is extinguished. After a short warm up period, it will re-switch itself back on to allow you to continue with your cooking.

The F12840 features a GARLAND Flame Sensor, which replaces the need for a separate electric ignition device, therefore reducing cost and installation time. The sensor can detect high flame rate gas burners that could damage conventional ignition systems. It will monitor directly in front of the burners, so when flame is sensed it will switch on the ignition device for the adjacent burner only, even though all four burners may be operational.

This 4 Burner Flame Sensor offers greater gas savings. It allows the burner to regulate gas usage based on the temperature in the cook box. It is extremely energy efficient because it is only using the amount of gas needed to complete your cook. CSi's unique flame sensor is easy to set up, install and use. The Sensor has a four way valve which directs the gas to either 1, 2 or 3 burners remaining off completely. It can control one or multiple burners and still be within industry standards.

To help ensure safety and promote efficiency, the flame sensors automatically turn gas on when the burners are lit and off when they're not. This helps prevent gas from leaking. The sensors continuously monitor the flame within each burner to ensure quick, easy lighting every time.
