FORCING SCREW

The FORCING SCREW accommodates up to a #10 AWG (8 mm) wire and can be used to make a variety of connections including pigtail splices in wire harnesses. These forcing screws incorporate a set screw which helps maintain a secure connection.

The OTC 33399 Tools and Equipment FORCING SCREW is complete with many useful features for increased accuracy and efficiency. This 2.0L capacity bottle has a 1.35ml graduations for increased measurements. The neck of this flask features a 25mm internal diameter, making the use of pipets and automatic liquid dispensing equipment much simpler. It also comes with a simple black and white label to clearly display its contents on all sides for easier identification.

The OTC33399 FORCING SCREW is made of composite retaining material which is wear and corrosion resistant for durability. This screw is wire threaded on both ends and offers a positive locking action. The composite material is a medium duty cast, heat treated to 45 HRC (Rockwell hardness C) and sintered to an ultimate bond strength of 65 KN/mm2 (4000psi). It has excellent resistance to abrasion, chemicals, acids, and high temperatures. The -- in length is used on the OTC333888 STUBBY WALL BRACKET

When working in confined areas, a Forcing Screw can open clogged or stuck pipes. Simply feed the screw into the drain and turn it counter-clockwise to unblock the drain. This 6" Forcing Screw features a barbed end to ensure that the screw will not be able to pull back out.

The 33399 Forcing Screw is designed for use in hydraulic power pack testing equipment for safely forcing fluid out of the pump under test conditions that would damage the equipment. It can be used with certain low pressure pumps such as OTC 31000 (69227) and OTC 32100 (69232). With a 1/4"-28 RH thread, it is compatible with all ADORE pressure gauges.

Just like the standard head screw, except that torx drive bit is used to tighten / loosen it. Properties of Torx drive: The six points of engagement provide excellent bite and superior holding power. The alternating raised and lowered pattern inhibits cam out. The deep recesses in driver and socket allow for quick, easy starting. Torx fasteners are ideal for applications that require repetitive disassembly and reassembly such as service, maintenance or repair work with limited space availability.
