The FS251"GEN PURPOSE" 1" NPT FLOW SWITCH, is a general purpose float, bi-state indicator with spring return to off position. It can be used to detect the presence or absence of liquid as an on/off indicator in level measurement and control circuits.

The Xylem FS251 is a General Purpose Liquid Liquid Pressure Switch designed to measure and control the flow of a pressurized gas or liquid parameter in a closed loop system. The FS251 can be used in either Direct or Reverse Feed applications and can operate from the minimum flow rate of 5 cc/min up to 16 gpm or 100 l/m at 41 PSIG (3 bar).

The Xylem-FS251 is designed with reduced porosity, a tighter wall thickness and thicker walls than comparable 1" valves. These features help prevent flow blockage from particulates and sediment by breakage of contaminants, as well as minimize back pressure drop that may be caused by inclusions or plugging, while maintaining sufficient flow capacity for application requirements.
