120V 20A SPDT Time Delay Relay

The RIBD01BDC is a 120V 20A SPDT Time Delay Relay. It uses a bi-metal to open the contacts 180 degrees out of phase when activated with an alternating current (AC) power source. When the voltage changes polarity, the bimetal is pulled in the opposite direction and closes the contact circuit within a specified time period. The delay time is approximately 50% longer from one half cycle to the next due to the hysteresis effect.

The Functional Devices 120 VAC 20 A SPDT Relay is designed to delay the turn on of an external load for up to 2 minutes. It includes a SPDT Time Delay relay, mounting brackets, and load terminal board.
