.75-150A Adj. Current Sensor
The new RIBXGT-SCAL self adjust current sensor is a current probe that is designed to monitor and signal the change in current from a motor within a range of .75 - 150A. This is accomplished through the use of a platinum sensor that has a direct sensing voltage output of approximately 0.00 VDC for full load current or about 10 mV per Amp for partial load current.
The RIBXGTA series of Current Sensors is specifically designed for lead acid battery protection of both cars and trucks. They are compact in size and more energy efficient than other types of current sensors. The RIBXGTA has built-in logic to protect against open circuit, short circuit, over current, undercurrent and over temperature. It can also be used as an adjustable ammeter to measure current up to 150A.
This is an overload type Current Transducer intended for use in power systems up to 150 A. Contact rating is 2.0 KW at 230 VAC, 1A and 230 VAC, 3A maximum compensating voltage. RIBXGTA-SCAL is mounted on surface of AC line to measure the voltage and current of the system. This sensor measures current in a wide range of 1-150 Amp (200 mV/Amp resolution).
The RIBXGTA is a handy economical, self-adjusting current sensor. It can be configured as (2) independent single pole single throw switch-processor or a 3-way proportional current sensor. The "X" connector is for the inserted shunts and the signal output is via the 0-10V cable.
The RI BXGTA-SCAL from Functional Devices Corp. is a non-adjustable 3 Amp 150 Amp, terminal block, split core current sensor with solid copper cross sectional wire. The RIBXGTASCAL is specially designed for applications where continuous adjustment of the sensing and trip points are required in conjunction with a self adjusting relay or controller while utilizing the inherent characteristics of the current transformers' magnetic core to provide significant savings when compared to using separate current sensors and relays for low amp applications.
The RIBXGTA Split Core Current Sensor is designed for sensing even smallest of current (even the milliamp) and display it at the terminal. Its compact size will not occupy much room on the panel board, with a sensing and terminal wire that measures only 20mm in length; making it very suitable to use in all applications. The RIBXGTA sensor is divided into metal and nonmetal type so that both the circuits are protected.
The Split Core SCAL series. This revolutionary new line of current sensors combines a magnetic and resistive core in one device to give you the best of both worlds…both an accurate measurement of current and a meaningful indication of when sufficient amperage is being drawn by the protected circuit. Unlike traditional current sensors which have two distinct parts that must be connected together with wires, the Split Core SCAL is designed to be installed directly 'in-the-line' on your electrical panel.
