Furman's M-8DX Standard Power Conditioner is an industry standard in rack-mountable power conditioners. The M-8DX was designed with a built-in noise filter that effectively reduces common sonic interference created by dimmers, fluorescent lights, and DC motors. The M-8DX can be rack mounted horizontally or vertically and features front panel fuses, independent overload indication, switchable voltage sensitivity, a true ground lift, and a detachable terminal block for tight spaces.

The Furman M-8DX builds on the legacy of Furman's preferred-series power conditioners, which have set the standard for affordable performance. This unit offers a generous 15-amp power capacity (each AC outlet can handle up to 5 amps), buffered outputs and a noise filtering capability that outperforms the previous generation. It also has 25 dB of input-to-output isolation for complete quiet during critical listening, without degradation in sound quality.

When you can't use the dry power from the wall, use your Furman M-8DX as a "clean" power source for all your critical gear. The M-8DX reduces line noise and AC hum with its Noise Eliminator circuit and delivers clean voltage to your valuable electronics during temporary outages, or while on the move. It also guards against damaging surges, spikes, lightning strikes, and other power anomalies that occur without warning.

The FURMAN M-8DX includes overvoltage, undervoltage, transient voltage (surge), and frequency protection for the connected equipment. Low and high impedance protection avoids damage from wiring errors such as hooking up speakers to a line output or connecting multiple loudspeakers to one amplifier without separate outputs.

The M-8DX 15 amp power conditioner with switchable voltage selectors allows you to operate a variety of components around the world. With both voltage selectors set to 110V, it will accommodate USA, Canada, Mexico and Japan. With both voltage selectors set to 220V or 230V, this unit will provide the correct power for all of Europe and many other countries throughout the world.

The M-8DX offers the ultimate in user protection with circuit breakers on all outlets, an 1800 joule rating and a high frequency filter. The M-8dx also offers an 8' grounded line cord as well as a dedicated power plug, a front panel LED av ailability indicator (lights to verify that the unit is receiving mains power), two (2) headphone outlets, two (2) microphone phantom power receive ports on the rear panel and two (2) XLR balanced outputs. Free connectors and a custom fitted cover are included.

Designed for Active Power Factor Correction (PFC), these power conditioners prevent current fluctuations and surges from entering your system, which could damage electronics, reduce equipment life, and cause data loss.
