The Element-Air air cleaner contains a fine particle pre-filter to stop the dirt before it hits the blower housing. This recyclable filter is called an "inner filter" for its location between the inner housing cover and blower assembly. The Element-Air air cleaner also includes an outer black mesh filter, that provides a clean air supply to the carburetor.

The Element Air Cleaner was designed to fit several different models of Cub Cadet Mighty Mower, Turf Tiger and MTD/MTD Pro walk behind mowers.
