Specially-selected rawhide gives the wedge its legendary splitting power. This split-head design is the ultimate in flexibility, allowing you to easily shape and conform the head to every tiny wire loop or reposition for extreme accuracy.

This is a 3 lb., all-cotton rawhide hammer with a non-split, 7-in. handle. The head is secured by three narrow rawhide strips, which are stapled to the handle instead of sewn; staples prevent the thin leather from splitting when it is driven into hard wood.

With rugged lacing leather wrapped handles, this hammer is sure to last. Imported split head construction makes for easy hanging on nails.
