This replacement Gear Motor 115V, 60Hz is intended for use with the Hobart line of 20 quart Planetary Mixers. The gear motor is powered by an AC-DC, single phase, 115 V power source and has a .375" bore.

The Gear Motor 115 V, 60 Hz Z17319 from GEAR MFG is a direct replacement for the older style motor. All dimensions must be verified during installation and operation of this product for safety and warranty purposes.

The D5-Z17319 Gear Motor produces 1.18 N-m of torque. Package Includes: (1) 115V, 60Hz Gear Motor, (1) #6-32 x 1/2" Slotted Pan Head Phillips Screw and (1) #6 Washer.

The D5-Z17319 STAR GEAR MOTOR is a 115V, 60Hz, 1/6HP high quality gear motor that will provide all the power you need. It uses a robust two-stage planetary design and has an integrated keyed output shaft that fits most standard encoders. This motor comes with an attached guard plate.

The Gear Motor is a 2 phase 24V dc gear motor with a 7/8" bore and 3/4" stroke. Gear Motors are used to drive screws (threaded shafts) or rotate equipment. The speed at which the shaft turns is dependent upon the input voltage, the number of coils, the frequency of the power supply, and the speed required by the stage.  The torque of a motor comes from the amount of current running through each winding, so selecting the right voltage and wire size will insure optimum torque and speed.

Our 115 volt gearmotor has a 5.0 amp, 1.3 horsepower rating and features a 5-tooth pinion driven by the output shaft. The output shaft rotates 1145 rpm in both directions. Additionally, our gear motor is able to control a load down to 2 amps and that load can weigh up to 100 grams (3.6 oz.). With the included gears you are able to achieve 50:1 reduction while the output shaft rotates 180 degrees for every degree of input rotation.
