Grundfos UPS series pumps are known for their reliability, efficiency and small footprint. The 53 series is for fresh water application and the 57/115V pumps are intended for seawater applications. Two of the pumps available in this series include: the UPS53-55 and the UPS57-115V-C.

The UPS53-55 is a three phase, single output pump unit for pumping clear water. The pump features a steel casing with plastic end caps and a handle. The unit will produce 54 gallons per hour at 55 feet/lbs pressure and 57 gallons per hour at 115 feet/lbs pressure.

The UPS53-055 is a 3-phase pump with automatic motor protection. It can be set up as an auto start/stop, single-phase pump, and has a possible application for horizontal pipeline use.

The UPS50/53 Series pumps are designed for frequent starts and stops as well as wide variations in pressure and flow. They are ideal for pumping water from wells, troughs, storage tanks and other facilities of similar kind. The pump is suitable for use where low suction lift is available or where groundwater is available near to the pump.

UPS' are manufactured in accordance with UL and CSA standards using only the highest-quality materials such as virgin electrolytic copper, polypropylene, polyamide heat shrinkable tube and fiberglass. The housings are made from impact-resistant, fire retardant material. The switches are rated at 50/60Hz, 1-ph, and are factory pre-set for the local voltage.
