Selecting Auto mode toggles between high and low fan speeds to maintain a desired room temperature range as it constantly monitors indoor and outdoor conditions.

The increased ENTHALPY CONTROL setting allows users to enjoy flexibility for both heating and cooling settings, by permitting the unit to operate in cooling mode with auxiliary heat as needed or up to full capacity on cooling only. With an added dehumidifier feature in the winter, this unit can lower humidity for a more comfortable environment. In the summer time this unit can be set to Cool Mode as well and Dehumidify as needed.

The Controller features a digital display and convenient push-button controls. It has an indoor temperature sensor, four heating and cooling settings and two fan speeds for enhanced comfort. The Carrier® 298856 HH57AC078 Enthalpy Control is suitable for gas-fired fuel-fired and oil-fired furnaces. This enthalpy control is designed to work with 90,000 Btu per hour direct vent natural or propane gas furnaces and oil Series 90, 100, 200, 300 and 400 gas furnaces.
