Carrier Sail Switch

The Carrier Sail Switch, part of the Quick Mount System, is a switching device that makes off-grid installations and hookup much easier than ever before. There's no longer a need to cut quick connects apart and splice in order to switch between power sources. Simply press the Carrier Sail Switch into place, then press the red button for either 110 volt or 12 volt, and remove it when finished by pressing the black button.

The Carrier Sail Switch home heater is a direct replacement for your existing wall mounted gas control. It comes with a matched heatsink, all hardware and gas tubing for installation, and offers rocker switch functionality.

The Carrier Sail Switch turns on and off your outdoor unit. It also lets you adjust temperature settings for improved comfort.

The Carrier Sail Switch provides simple, easy-to-install alternative to conventional thermostat or mechanical temperature controls. It's ideal for use with circulating fans and registers that allow you to match the heating and cooling output to your room's size and needs.

This carrier works with Carrier's heat pump model numbers: CVAP05130C0, CVAP05157C1, CVAP05140C0, AND CVAP05161C1. Use of this unit with other heating and cooling products is not recommended and may lead to malfunction of the product. The Carrier Sail Switch will automatically switch to emergency heat when your furnace malfunctions. It is suitable for use with gas or electric furnaces that are factory installed by Carrier.

This 5-pack of Carrier sail switches can be added to your existing thermostat to control individual room or floor level cooling and heating systems. You can use them to control lighting and electronic ballast, or even a wall outlet. In addition, the two ceiling mount models can also be used to control Carrier central air conditioner remote units.
