HI LIMIT for American Range A10040 (HI LIMIT for American Range) The High Limit Switch will automatically interrupt power to the unit if the temperature of the cooking surface reaches 500°F. This is an essential safety device and must be installed on all new stoves as well as retro-fitted on older models to maintain factory warranty. Installation requires a 4 " hole to be drilled in the firebox.
The HI LIMIT for American Range is an add-on module that increases the amount of fuel delivered to your cooktop, allowing you to get more fine control when you need it. It can also be used as a replacement or even an upgrade from your current high limit.
HI LIMIT or Low Limit Switches for American Range is designed to activate a safety device during the normal operation of the appliance, such as gas valves, or other hot surfaces.
