The RepairTop&Insert is a replacement top and insert for the Honeywell air cleaner model VP531C. The RepairTop&Insert also provides greater capacity by adding 1 additional air filter. This item makes it possible to convert the air cleaner from a HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arresting) mode to a true standard HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arresting) mode.

The Honeywell VP531A is a sensor top and sensor insert. This product senses the presence of smoke to alert you when your alarm needs maintenance. The smoke detector should be replaced every 8-10 years or after it chirps, whichever comes first. This is an OEM manufacturer replacement part and is intended to be used with other original equipment components for repair purposes. The part number for this repair top/insert is: 14004898-001.

Installation of the replacement filter Top & Insert.

The Honeywell PU0700005 and PU0700006 are full repair kits. The Honeywell PU0700110 is an upgrade kit. They both will replace the VP531C base unit. The VP531A-3, VP531A-4, VP531B-3 and VP531B-4 will not be compatible with this kit."
