The KR14 LP Orifice For Q348 is a replacement orifice for use with the Honeywell Q348 Air Cleaner. This item replaces part 388146 that has been discontinued. The KR14 was designed to fit inside the air intakes of a variety of Honeywell Air Cleaners. When installed correctly, this orifice works as an emission control device to reduce odor and some airborne particles when air passes through it. Its primary function is to control noise output by the fan motor while inflating the air cleaner's blower housing.

The orifice, in conjunction with the flow restrictor and pressure regulator, determines the burner's final output. This replacement orifice is used on all T401, T401A, T402, T404A, T406A and T410 Series DuraHeat portable propane and natural gas fired heaters that use a low pressure pilot system. The thread size is .375 inches. It is important to always replace the orifice when the regulator is replaced. Please note this orifice is for Q348 regulators only
