The Honeywell A3W 47130907 CL2Tstat is designed for controlling air conditioning, chilling and heating appliances with a cooling or heating coil that operates off of carbon-dioxide (CO2) refrigerant.

Designed for commercial applications, this C&C Type B Freeze Protection Tstat Powers On/Off power & control (heating & cooling) up to 125V with continuity. Not designed for use on fireplaces or gas logs.

Honeywell's CL2-rated A3W_WG thermostat provides accurate temperature control and flame safety within your fire place. The thermostat, designed for indoor use only, can be used with most fireplaces with a grate type of wood burning device. It features a large digital display that shows the current temperature setting and allows you to adjust the temperature in one degree increments. It comes with a set of mounting straps so you can easily mount it to the side of your standard fireplace.

The quality of the cable jacket is very good. PVC jackets are preferred because they stop light from getting through to the conductor inside and reflecting back out again, causing ghosting or flares.
