ELECTRIC HEAT RELAY 24V DPST

The R8229A-1021 Honeywell Electric Heat Relay is a new aftermarket relay. It is the new replacement for: 3MPC4RV2, DPST-NCO, MB1G, MPC400, DPST-NCO and 9731R.

The Honeywell® R8229A1021 24V Electric Heat Relay is specially designed to work with your central heating unit or furnace. This relay includes extra mounting hardware.

The Honeywell Relay with DPST Switching is designed to be used in buildings equipped with an electrical central heating system for controlling electrically operated heaters. The relays basic function is to provide basic on-off operation of a heater at low energy level and on-off or proportional temperature control at higher energy level.

Relay for Electric Heat. This relay is for electric heat. It has 24 volt solenoid coil and 4 terminal switch contacts, one normally open and one normally closed. The terminals connect to a thermostat or a temperature controller.  It will open when the temperature drops below the set point and close when the temperature goes above it.

This product is intended for use in applications such as gas engines, water heaters, boilers and furnace fans, but not air handlers or fan coils.

This is a switched heating relay. 3/32" (2.5mm) mounting holes. This part has no leads, it is just a switch that mounts through a hole and has terminals on the back side of the mounting face.
