This is a 40VA high voltage transformer. It is designed to step-down 208/230V household voltage to 24V for powering digital power supply modules, eliminating the cost of a separate AC ripple filter. Features include two outlets on the front panel, a status display, and an overvoltage shutdown circuit which protects powered devices from dangerous AC input voltages above approximately 26.4V (typical surge).
