Our Flame Retainer for Air Conditioning & Heat Pump Systems works with your water heater to lower your utility bill by extending the life of your tank. As a positive displacement device, it regulates incoming water flow into your water heater tank, slowing loss of heat from the tank by extending the heat exchange process.

The Flame Retainer is designed to retain the flame during ignition when used with the 1175643 APU. It allows airflow to pass through when in the locked position, when locked it will stop air passing through when in use on aircraft with 110v power only.

The Flame Retainer insures an even fire to the logs by retaining all heat and radiated heat resulting in better flame patterns and more radiant heat. Made from real steel, the Flame Retainer is durable and will last for many seasons.
