The Pilot Assembly with #4 tip arrangement is used to heat treat vehicle wheel hubs, truck and trailer axles, and other related parts. The kit includes one pilot assembly tool, one pilot head heater, and a small canister of nitrogen gas compressed to approximately 200 psig.

Pilot assembly complete with #4 size tip. Operates at low pressure, yet produces linear speed of over 200 ft/per min. at only 80 psi. Smooth and quiet operation due to precision needle valve and ball bearing construction. Because of design, tip is easily replaced without changing the entire assembly.
