The Johnson Controls 9771 Valves are a replacement for VA valves, and are commonly used for air compressors. They are rated for 0 to 10 VDC input and 22 LB output.

The 9771 Valves are replacement valves for the following cross-reference numbers 9772 (22 lb.); VA-3 (22 lb.), VA-4 (22 lb.), VA-42 (22 lb.); Electronic Direct Digital Control (EDDC).
This valve has a trip current setting of 16 amps that is adjustable from 0-10 volts. Has an electric actuator and stem inlet design. It has a unique pilot seal design with a reduced seal profile to simplify PLC mounting.
The Johnson Controls N100X81G100 is a Single Pole, Three Throw (SP3T) Valve Actuator. The SP3T has one normally open coil that, when energized, moves the positioner to the three positions. The normally open coil can be changed to a normally closed coil by swapping connections and wiring to the coils. The valve positioner is used with Johnson controls TV100X81G01 or TV101X81B01 pilot actuators and can replace VA-type valve positioners from other manufacturers.
The series 9771 is a replacement controller for the 8100, 8200, and 84XX drop-leg valve that were offered by Johnson Controls Inc. between the years of 1986 and 2001.
