The Johnson Controls A11A13 is a 35/45F MR Freezestat, 40' Open Loop Heat Transfer Device, KW220/220V.

The Johnson Controls FREEZESTAT 40'OpenLo can be used to provide cooling, heating, defrosting or simply as a holding cabinet. The A/C systems are available in both air cooled and water cooled configurations. The A/C systems are completely self contained utilizing the proven thermostatic controls to maintain temperature within +/- 1 degree Fahrenheit. The cabinets are constructed of heavy duty recessed panels that are fully insulated on the interior side.

The 35/45F MR FREEZESTAT is designed for leading edge applications. The condenser coils are mounted separately to allow easy access to the evaporator for maintenance. The condenser has equal suction and discharge piping with the ability to be plumbed with an anti-syphon device. The top coil design allows for several plenum options, there is no special base required due to the innovative design of this condenser.

The Johnson Controls 35/45F MR Freezestat reaches temperatures as low as -20°F—the lowest permissive temperature for domestic-type refrigerants. This model contains the standard features expected of a freeze control/radio frequency burner, including factory set low limit safety control, pressure switch lockout to prevent accidental startup, remote thermostat capabilities, and mounting provisions for external auxiliary heaters.

Manual reset on-off switch is included for holding temperature at a set point during defrost mode. A temperature controller with high limit safety device is built in. Reversible cover to mount up or down depending on blower configuration.

The device is equipped with an open data logger interface, allowing you to pull temperature data when you want it. They are also ideal in locations where the electricity has gone out and temperatures must be recorded for billing purposes.

Aerodynamic cooling tower features multiple rows of louvers and high-tension, galvanized steel end frames. Louvers are only open when the unit is operating due to a unique automatic louver actuator (ALA) design that provides extreme durability and efficiency. For installation into freezers that require easy maintenance, towers include suspended solid airfoil fan with all-stainless steel blades and a service entrance for cleaning. Fan bowl comes off for easy cleaning.

This model prepares fresh A/C air from kitchen, store or other commercial refrigeration equipment by removing odors from freezer and refrigerator sections. Two speeds of ozone sterilization, and HEPA filtration provide clean, healthy air. Fresh air comes into the room through a port inside the unit that is connected to the fresh-air intake. This intake can remain closed during ozone operation if desired. When closets and storage areas are open for stocking and cleaning, the port remains covered with a dust cover to prevent dust from entering the A/C system.
