This positioner works with Johnson Controls Thermatouch D-3153 and D-3007 Series 2 Stage Regulators to provide proportional temperature control for heating, cooling, and domestic hot water applications. It can be mounted on a side wall or inside of a cabinet and requires 120 VAC and 3 amps. (Johnson Controls TP1 Temperature Processor required for use.)

The D-9502 positioner is not designed to operate the D-3153 motor in any one fixed position. Therefore, using the positioner without the motor locked provides no control over the motor position.
