This new Solid State Remote Control (SSRC) that replaces the T-80/85/100 elements with a 3" tube that features a proportional and two position remote. No external power supply is needed for this remote control, only 27 VDC @ 0.1 amps is required for this control and it can be wired to toggle or on / off operation depending on your application and preference. The T8000-1 remote element controller is for use with the Proportional and Two-Position Remote Element Controller , both of which are required components. It is intended to be used with many Johnson Controls fluorescent lamps, including some types of crystal lamps.

During power reduction cycles, lamp lights will flicker. By setting the Position to two-position ON/OFF control status is achieved. The proportional controller continuously changes the power level between OFF and SETPOINT.
